Chris & Meredith's Engagement Shoot

On May 25th I met up with Meredith, Chris, and their two adorable children for an engagement photo shoot. The location where they chose for the pictures was property that had been in the groom-to-be's family for years, which we thought would make the pictures extra-sentimental.


Although the heat was less than pleasant and I had to fight Chris' fishing pole away from him a few times, we ending up capturing some very special images of the happy couple as well as the entire family. ;-)

The big wedding day is this August, so keep an eye out for their pictures to be posted!

Teeny Miss Early County Forestry/Teeny Miss Tri-State 2009

Miss Cailyn Dean is a gorgeous little 2 year old that I recently had the pleasure of photographing at my studio. She was very patient when she arrived for her photo shoot, but by the time Melinda finished with her hair and makeup we could tell that she was ready to move on to another activity! After a little persuasion and bribery, I managed to capture her beauty in a few headshots that will be used in the photogenic category of the state Forestry pageant coming up this month.

War Birds Photo Shoot

• On May 16 & 17th the Tallahassee Regional Airport hosted Airfest 2009. A fellow photographer came up with the brilliant idea of coordinating a "War Birds" shoot to take advantage of the event. Several photographers, models, makeup artists, and hair stylists got together with the goal of creating some truly vintage WWII-era images. Despite the sweltering heat and the occasional rain shower, it turned out to be SO much fun!
